Was that wheel exit good process, or luck?

A paper-trading platform for premium sellers. Write the thesis before you sell the put. When you close, roll or get assigned, the Journal grades the decision on process and shows what the other exit would have paid.

$200k paper balance · live option chains · nothing charged during the free period, no brokerage connection

What you get

The whole wheel, on live chains

Cash-secured puts, covered calls, rolls and assignment, priced from the live option chain. Shares and the short call link automatically so the position reads as one trade.

Graded on process, not on P&L

Entry timing, sizing, the exit, and whether the thesis held, each graded on its own. A put that expired worthless on a thesis that was wrong gets told so.

The exit you did not take

Closed at 50% of max profit? The counterfactual replays holding to expiry, or rolling, from real prices, in dollars. Sometimes it hurts. It is always instructive.

Your own tendencies, in numbers

After three closes in the same setup: your win rate, how long you hold winners against losers, and whether you close early, late or on plan.

In plain English

  • Paper trading only. No real money, no brokerage connection, nothing to fund. That is the point: a place to test an exit rule a hundred times before it costs anything.
  • Not a signal service. Nothing here tells you what to sell. It tells you, afterwards, how well you decided.
  • Free until the beta ends on November 1, 2026. Open signup; a card on file, nothing charged.

The ask

This week: sell two or three paper puts with a one-sentence thesis each, close one, and read the grade. Then tell us where the grade is wrong.

Opus Options Trading is a paper-trading platform for education and practice. It is not a broker, does not hold funds, and does not give investment advice. Paper results do not predict real-money results.
